Students in this class learn the systems and applications that create and edit interactive media. We focus on both practical and theoretical elements of media in both education and industry, teaching audiences to perform complex tasks. Class assignments involve work with hypermedia, lighting, audio, and nonlinear video production and editing.
This course teaches students to:
- shoot/capture high-quality audio and video media content;
- analyze audiences when creating/editing multimedia;
- learn the basics of design as they relate to multimedia;
- create usable navigation and interactive user experiences;
- create media for workplace training and online instruction.
